Anyway, Erix, knowing you are an expert in modeling, want to ask you what is those extra parts on the frame but the manual say is useless.. I found it in my gundam MG too, but never know why they put it in for customization? Or is actually for another look... Cause it doesn't look like a duplicated spare parts.
the part i found in armored messiah look like it mean to give option for me to customize it back to basic shape, cause as you may know even you took all armors out from this model it will still have some armors attached on the shoulder and legs..

Lastly, does anyone know where to get thinner and flat clear spray in PJ area?

just an old guy but still playing with plastic...
btw, those which mentioned in the manual was the original part of the first mold, which mean, Bandai still using the same old frame (to save cost) & add in new parts for the kit. Ofcos there don't want to waste money to re-mold again the same parts again just for another same design mecha.
It's also good for U to save all the useless parts as for your "spare parts" for any case happen to your kit.
Or, U can also use it for your next project, might useful is U plan to mod 1 of your kit.
