The new one definitely looks more detailed on the skin texture and expression.
The old one looks slightly stoned.
The hair also looks more better but it's not fair to compare because this new Thor don't have to wear the helmet.
Anyhow, it is not fair to compare at all because that's how Thor looks like in the first movie and his look does changed in this new Avengers movie.
What HT did is just to replicate as much similarity as possible with the real actor in that particular movie of that time.
If Thor looks as good in the original Thor movie as in the Avengers movie now, I'm sure his figure will look as good as well.
If you already have the old Thor, there is no need to replace him unless you are a perfectionist or completist.
If given a choice, I will still want a Thor with his signature helmet.
That's my 5 cents.
Btw, did he just dyed his hair and moustauche into dark brown??
