There's a 2 ways lah.

1. Get a ripped version of the net, then just load it directly into your PSP.

2. Rip your own from your own CDs by using Popstation.

When you put it inside your PSP/GAME folder, it's as easy as browsing to your memory stick and press O/X to run the game!

Thnx for replying~

I've the original game, so u mean I can rip myself with just the Popstation software? Just need to run one software is enuf? I skim thru alot of forums, some say got to dwngrade the PSP to play the game, some say got to compress the file smaller to fit the MS.... seems like alot of "stuff"... I hate "lots-of-stuff".....

hai~ :( Its sudden thing~ I'm 1/2 way thru CC and I really feel an urge to play FF7....

Wait.

What firmware are you running? Original PSP firmware or the 'hacked' version? If you are running on the original firmware, you can't play the ISOs ripped by Popstation. You gotta change it ('downgrade') your firmware to one of the hacked firmwares (Dark Alex's version for example).

Compression wise, you can either leave it as it is if you have a larger MS (4gb), if you have space issues, then you can use some compressors to compress it, depending on the ISO, some may save you a lot of space, and some just 5%.

Well, nothing is free and nobody is gonna spoonfeed you information, so you gotta put in some effort to find the information in order to play the ripped games.

My cousin mod it thru another person for me, I've to ask him later. :Woo:

To check the firmware, you gotta go to the Settings screen then go to System Information.

If you see just 3.70 (or any number) then it is the official Sony firmware. If you see any extras behind like M33 or OE-A or whatever, then you have a downgraded PSP!
